Portland Making Strides, pictured above: This year North Coast Portland decided to become a sponsor for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. From there we set out to get at least 15 employees signed up for this wonderful cause. Well, Portland blew us away! We had over 50 people sign up to walk! Unfortunately not everyone is pictured. However, we had an unbelievable turnout! It was absolutely wonderful to see so many people from North Coast, and their families, gathering for such a great cause. - Morgan Murphy

Coeur d’Alene Breastfest: Paddy’s Bar, owned by the Carper family in Coeur d’Alene, has held their annual fundraiser for local cancer related organizations for the past 9 years. This event was started in honor of the bar owner’s mother, who passed away from breast cancer 10 years ago. This year North Coast donated $300.00 in Milwaukee tools for their silent auction, which is a big part of the event. Our donation ended up raising over $635.00 from the bids put in on the items. Overall, the event raised almost $25,000.00, which all goes to local cancer related causes. The funds they raise help with everything from transportation, baby sitters, home care needs, wigs, and many other things that cancer patients need to help them get through the tough times during and after treatment. It is a great event and many of our customers were there for the fun as well. The Carper family was very thankful for our contribution and look forward to our help in coming years. - Bob Stanley

Almost everyone knows someone who has had cancer. But here at North Coast, we know that if enough people join the fight, we can change that.
