North Coast Electric's Energy Solutions Team recently completed a project for the West Hills Kia dealership.

West Hills Kia, part of the Haselwood Auto Group, has been in business since 1949.  More recently, the Kia dealership was undergoing a large scale remodel . The owners and management wanted to increase the light levels in the showroom as well as convert to an all-LED system.

NCE was brought in to help with the rebate process in support of the energy efficiency upgrade. When we joined the project we suggested looking at all the lighting, as our team noticed there were still some older systems in place.  The existing system consisted of 700 series T8's, some areas still had aging T12's, and the car sales lot had  its original equipment = 1000 watt Metal Halide shoebox lights.

We used Puget Sound Energy's Enhanced Lighting program to take advantage of more utility funding and designed a  new 100% LED system. This new system replaced all of those old components and dramatically increased energy efficiency. On this project we used several  strategic manufacturers including Cooper, Hubbell, Lutron, Maxlite, Juno, and Sylvania to create a totally custom system that exceeded the customer's expectations.
